Beauty Basement is a friendly modern Beauty Salon based on Southchurch Rd established in 2009 by Amanda Sutton. It provides a wide range of treatments including Eyelash Extensions, Nail Extensions, Spa Find Facials to Microblading and Laser Hair removal.
It has 4 treatment rooms including 1 double treatment room so you can have your pampering in the same room, 2 pedicure chairs and 3 nail stations.
As a salon we are always improving our skills and constantly keeping up with our continued personal development by enrolling in courses all over the country to bring new skills and treatments to the salon. For all staff this includes qualifications in Chemical Peels, Dermaplaning, Microdermabrasion, Hydrodermabrasion, Laser Hair Removal, IPL Skin Rejuvenation, dermaroller, cryotherapy pen, plasma pen.

Amanda
The owner NVQ level 2&3 qualified in Beauty and Nails, NVQ Level 4 qualified in Semi Permanent Makeup, Microblading & Laser Hair Removal. Qualified in advance injections for fat reduction and profhilo. She is also a fully qualified beauty educator with Teaching, Assessor and IQA qualifications.
Franzeska
NVQ level 2 Beauty and NVQ 2&3 Nails qualified, NVQ level 4 Qualified in Semi Permanent Makeup, Microblading, Salon Management & Laser Hair Removal. She is also a fully qualified beauty educator and assessor. Started at Beauty Basement in 2012.
Becky
NVQ level 2&3 qualified in Beauty and Nails. Specialising in Massage including Pregnacy Massage and advanced facials. Started at Beauty Basement in 2016.
Holly
NVQ level 2 Beauty Qualified, NVQ level 3 qualified in Semi Permanent Eyelashes and Nails. Specialising in lashes and nails. Started at Beauty Basement in 2017.
Awards
Beauty Basement won “Beauty Salon of the Year 2015 and 2013” at the English Hair and Beauty Awards and “Small Business of the Year” at the Southend Business Awards. Amanda Sutton the owner also won “Young Entrepreneur of the Year”.
Beauty Basement came 1st on “Three Best Rated Beauty Salon” 2019, 2020, 2021 & 2022.
