Micro-Current therapy was developed over 20 years ago and was originally used in the medical field to treat stroke victims and those who have suffered Bells Palsy by re-educating weakened facial muscles. Micro-Current has been adapted by the beauty industry to offer beauty therapists the ability to offer clients a course of treatments that would effectively tone and firm facial muscle fibre. The result for clients is more youthful healthy looking contours.
 
The DermaCo Pro unit uses Micro-Current to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The BioLift will emit a very tiny amount of electrical current, that when applied to the skins surface will push through the dermal layers of the skin tissue and penetrate the muscles beneath. When the current comes into contact with the Muscle it will re educate the muscles fibres by using an intermittent electrical current (Faradic) that is biologically compatible with the body’s own natural electrical energy – sometimes referred to as “chi.” These muscle fibres contract and relax achieving an incredible end result leaving your clients skin lifted and toned.
Micro-Current technology is a safe and painless treatment procedure used to rejuvenate your skin, making it look much younger. You will ALWAYS see an immediate noticeable lift after just one treatment, sometimes the results can be slight on the first treatment, however normally these results can be very dramatic depending on your clients own individual skin tone and muscle resistance levels.
